This massive camphor tree in Saga, Japan, is notable for its wide, spreading canopy and aromatic wood. It grows within the grounds of a Shinto shrine, giving it both spiritual and ecological significance. It is the sixth largest tree in all of Japan, and a natural monument of Takeo City since 1970.
